The MTV Video Music Awards happened again. Although, if you’ve listened to the radio lately, I’m not entirely sure who they’d give awards to.

The music videos must have been amazing. I last watched MTV when I was 15, so I’m guessing here.

As usual, the VMAs were a way for people to showcase how fashion forward they are, or hope to be after their pics hit the internet.

Here are some of the weirdest and best ones from this year’s pink (yes, pink) carpet.

    Starting with:

    Grace VanderWaal

I actually really like this. It has a French chic vibe about it. Also, it’s shiny. The socks and mary-janes make me happy. Good job.

    Bethany Meyers and Nico Tortorella

Punk meets goth meets middle-distance staring. You have to have that look on your face to pull this off (it’s on the care label).

    Amber Rose

    Uhm…

    Tana Mongeau

    Giving you Sound-of-Music-all-I-had-was-these-drapes realness.

    Bobby Lytes

    YAAAAAAAAAAAS. WERK! #ITMFA

    Lucas Goodman and Jillian Hervey

Shirt by Pimp My Ride.  Wig by RuPaul.

And finally, Madonna came dressed as a Shaman Witch/ jewellery kiosk to pay tribute to Aretha Fraklin by thanking her for making Madonna possible:

    Hope you enjoyed that.
