If you go to a karaoke bar you’re guaranteed to hear this song sung at least once, and it’s also the song that gets everyone singing when it comes on in a bar.

No matter what your taste in music, you definitely know all of the words, and have listened to it at least a hundred times.

And in streaming it, you helped catapult it to the top of the pile as the most streamed song from the 20th century.

It should really come as no surprise that Queen’s famous Bohemian Rhapsody has overtaken Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit.

    Here’s The Guardian:

The song is currently as popular as it has been in a generation, following the release of the Queen biopic also entitled Bohemian Rhapsody, which has made almost $600m at the global box office since its release in November.

The song re-entered the UK charts the same month and reached No 45, and for the week of 22 November, was the 11th most streamed song in the world on Spotify.

The top five most streamed tracks of the 20th century are actually rather surprising, with major stars such as Michael Jackson, Madonna and the Beatles missing from the list.

Nirvana’s 1991 grunge anthem Smells Like Teen Spirit is at number two with more than 1,5 billion streams, followed by two songs by Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O’ Mine and November Rain.

A-ha’s synthpop hit Take on Me comes in at number five.

In a statement accompanying the news, Queen guitarist Brian May said: “So the river of rock music has metamorphosed into streams! Very happy that our music is still flowing to the max!” Lucian Grainge, CEO of Queen’s label Universal Music Group, said it was an “incredible achievement that is a testament to the enduring brilliance of Queen”.

Just to be clear – these are the top five streamed songs from the 20th century, so songs released post-1999 don’t qualify.

Relax, Bieber and Ed Sheeran fans.

    Go on, have another listen:

    Still good.
