If you leap over a man who stands 7-foot-1-inch tall, or around 2,16 metres, you are definitely exhibiting bird-like qualities.
We’re talking about Hamidou Diallo, who won this weekend’s NBA dunk contest by leaping over Shaquille O’Neal.
Just to drive home the point, Diallo then used the rim to maximise his hang time, before lifting his jersey to show off a Superman shirt.
These contests don’t do modesty or subtlety.

Speaking after his win, Diallo said he plans to defend his title next year, with fellow high-flier Zion Williamson set to be his main competition.
