On October 2 last year, Saudi journalist and Washington Post contributor Jamal Khashoggi entered the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.
Tragically, he would never emerge alive, and the details of his gruesome murder have been well documented.
Of course, the Saudis tried their best to hide their tracks, repeatedly lying about Khashoggi’s whereabouts, with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman front and centre of the cover-up.
Now, six months on from his death, the Washington Post has put together a superb documentary feature on the assassination of their journalist.
If you want the full, no-holds-barred account of what went on that day, you won’t do better than this:
The silence from many American politicians, including POTUS himself, on the murder of a US resident with three US citizen children, speaks volumes.
