  • New Bond Film Car Chase [Video]

In No Time To Die, Daniel Craig will play Bond for the fifth and final time, although rumour has it, he might not be playing 007 – that role could be going to a woman.

I still dislike the movie title, and even more so after I realised that it was repurposed from another film.

While people obsess over the new 007 and worry themselves over whether the upcoming film will stay true to the series, the directors and producers have been hard at work.

Diehard fans will be happy to know (thanks to leaked footage of filming), that some things will be staying the same.

    Over to Driving:

It looks like the gadget-laden James Bond Aston Martin DB5 will have more than a cameo role in the next 007 film — the legendary classic sports car has been spied tearing up the streets in a car chase during filming of the new Bond blockbuster, No Time to Die.

Newly-released footage shows the silver sports car being hustled around the windy city streets of Matera, Italy, with a pair of Jaguar XF saloons and a motorcycle rider (presumably belonging to the baddies) hot on the MI6 agent’s heels.

While it’s unclear where the chase fits into the No Time to Die plot, the sight of executive saloons in dark paintwork pursuing an Aston Martin on a tight and twisty route in Italy does bring to mind the intro sequence in the 2011 James Bond film Quantum of Solace.

    Enjoy:

It’s not as exciting without the music and post-production, but that’s still some skilful driving.

No Time To Die will be in cinemas by April next year.
