Like many Springbok fans, I spent a great deal of the Rugby World Cup screaming ‘give it to Cheslin’, interspersed with insults directed at Willie le Roux’s handling and Faf de Klerk’s box kicks.

I apologise unreservedly for the insults, but I think the pleas for our world-class winger to be given more ball were vindicated.

Just ask Owen Farrell, who was quoted recently as saying that Kolbe has more steps than an AA meeting.

He didn’t really – I just made that up.

Following on from yesterday’s goosebump-inducing tribute to the Bokke, with some Big Duane Vermeulen love thrown in for good measure, let’s take a moment to appreciate the dynamite in Kolbe’s feet.

SA Rugby Mag found this video of the flyer, titled ’10 Times Cheslin Kolbe Showed Who Is The Boss’, and there are no prizes for guessing what features as number one.

Side note – feel free to turn the volume right down:

    Absolute superstar.

This video below, shared last week by Siya Kolisi’s long-time pal and fellow Stormer Scarra Ntubeni, should also bring a smile to your face:
