The list of South African businesses affected by the national lockdown is too long to mention, but you can count yourselves among the fortunate if it’s business as usual for the next few weeks.
With things like concerts being cancelled, musicians have had to turn to streaming live shows to bring money in, and South Africans have been looking at ways to try and help smaller businesses survive in these trying times.
We should also spare a thought for the models of Meow Now, an online platform that invites you to book models, atmosphere models, and exotic entertainers.
The start-up has been disrupting the local entertainment and model booking industry, but now operations have come to a halt whilst the lockdown is in place.
In an effort to help out their models, and keep their followers entertained, Meow Now is running the Cabin Fever Challenge.
Here are the basics:
Submissions will be sexy, cheeky, and fun, and will abide by Instagram’s rules – so no nips and other bits, basically.
Each of the models will submit three videos or photos, which will be posted as Stories on the Meow Now Instagram account.
From now, through until midday on April 16, they will be posting three videos or images per day on their Stories.
Submissions will be rated by Meow Now’s followers, using likes and comments, and at the end of lockdown on April 17, they will announce the girl with the most votes, and she will win the grand prize.
You’re already spending a great deal of your day scrolling through social media, as we all battle cabin fever of our own, so you may as well spice things up a little.
