They’re Calling This The Greatest UFC Knockout Ever [Videos]

Joaquin Buckley took on Impa Kasanganay in a middleweight bout at UFC Fight Island 5 this past weekend, and there was only one winner.

That man you’re looking at above, with the Mr. T-like haircut, is Impa Kasanganay.

As you can probably tell from the look on his face, he was not the man dishing out what many are calling the greatest knockout in UFC history.

That honour belongs to Joaquin Buckley, who took on Kasanganay in a middleweight bout at UFC Fight Island 5.

With two minutes gone in the second round, Buckley delivered a spinning back heel kick that landed flush, causing Kasanganay’s eyes to roll back into his head before he hit the canvas.

In addition to the win, Buckley took home a solid $50 000 ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus for the knockout.

You can almost feel his skull shake as the kick makes contact:

Following the fight, Buckley said the kick is a move he has perfected in training.

Thankfully, Kasanganay didn’t suffer any immediate serious injuries, and posted this to Instagram:

This was Kasanganay’s first professional loss, after starting his career with eight straight wins, so expect him to come back swinging.
