Sadio Mane’s time at Liverpool has come to an end.

The Senegalese superstar was confirmed as a Bayern Munich player yesterday, in a deal that is worth approximately €32 million without add-ons.

If certain boxes are ticked, that fee could rise to €41 million.

It was the biggest transfer story of the day (remember what a signing felt like, Manchester United fans?) and reporters were very keen to hear from Mane.

Too keen, in fact, which led to an embarrassing blunder live on air for Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg:
