This year’s December jol looks absolutely raging.
And not just because there’s an iconic music festival and dope headliners making waves in the Plett Rage area, but because GoodLuck is back for their annual summer residency and concert series.
Get Lucky Summer recently announced the return of the vibey band for this much-needed holiday season in and around Cape Town and the Garden Route.
After eight years of sold-out events, and annual numbers of 21 000 attendees, the 2022 season returns to the grassy banks of The Beacon Island Hotel, the Plett Rugby Fields, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, Cape Town, and Hermanus.
Promising a world-class line-up and an excellent family-friendly environment, the Garden Route’s favourite concert series is set for an epic season with the live-electronic icons, GoodLuck.
They certainly won’t be alone, performing alongside some of their favourite acts and new discoveries. These include Mango Groove, Msaki, The Kiffness, Craig Lucas, Will Linley, Prime Circle, Majozi, Veranda Panda, and more.
GoodLuck also announced that the highly anticipated New Year’s Eve event in Plett will now run as a three-day New Year’s Eve Festival, featuring headliners GoodLuck, Mango Groove, Spoegwolf, international UK sensation Casey Lowry, and TikTok sensation Will Linley.
All that across the three days of the last weekend of 2022? Yes, please.
This New Year’s Eve festival will celebrate the best of South Africa’s musical talent. At the same time, delicious food trucks and a relaxing environment will cater for a festive, family experience set in the most beautiful location in the country.
Whatever plans you have for New Year’s, you might want to change them, because nothing will come close to this iconic concert series.
The Get Lucky team has also announced the addition of a Knysna New Year’s Eve event, which will take place on Thesen Island at The Knysna Experience with headliners GoodLuck, Will Linley, and Veranda Panda.
