Tiger Woods is apparently a little worried about what could be “another scandal” amid legal drama with his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman.

Their months-long legal battle has so far been kept under wraps but just recently surfaced publicly after news broke of the couple’s split.

First, Herman, 38, sought to toss out a non-disclosure agreement she signed in 2017, and then, in October last year Herman added fuel to the fire by filing a landlord complaint.

She is accusing the golf star of tricking her into leaving his Florida mansion under the guise of going on a “short vacation” only to lock her out entirely.

Tiger Woods has never been one for sentimental goodbyes.

Apparently, he booted her from his massive Jupiter home using “trickery” and then repeatedly refused to let her back in, according to the court filings obtained by The New York Post.

The court papers state that those working on behalf of Woods’ trust convinced Herman to “pack a suitcase for a short vacation and, when she arrived at the airport, they told her she had been locked out of her residence, in violation of the oral tenancy agreement and in violation of Florida law.”

He might have paid for a “hotel room and certain expenses for a short period of time” but he tried to “frighten her away from returning” to the property:

Those working for Woods subsequently removed her personal belongings and took $40,000 in cash that belonged to her before making “scurrilous and defamatory allegations about how she obtained the money,” the court documents allege.

Herman is alleging that this negates an oral agreement that allowed her to live there for another five years. Based on the time left for her tenancy, Herman argued in court papers that she was entitled to compensation of roughly $30 million.

“Tiger feels like this is another shakedown,” the source via PEOPLE says, adding that “he doesn’t want another scandal”.

The source says that Woods believes Herman, 38, is aware of her ex-boyfriend’s concern over another public fallout from a romantic relationship. “It terrifies him,” the source says, adding, “And she knows that because they’ve talked about it.”

As the former couple’s legal disputes continue, the source says, “there’s a lot of panic right now” for Woods. “No one wants the details of a long relationship to be made public.”

The source said the situation is “a nightmare” for Woods.

Those close to Woods also say the $30 million Herman asks for in the filing “is ridiculous” but that he “has to decide whether it’s worth paying that amount so that this can go away”.

Most alarmingly for Woods, she seems to be sneaking towards sexual assault allegations:

On Monday, Herman filed a complaint asking to be removed from a non-disclosure agreement she signed in 2017, citing a law that allows NDAs to be nullified in cases of sexual assault. However, Herman has not made any accusations against Woods.

So far, she’s suing for consequential monetary damages, injunctive relief, and attorneys’ fees under the Florida Residential Landlord Tenant Act.

Eish, it can’t be easy having eyes on you under these circumstances.
