NYTimes Has An Interesting View Of The Trump Tsunami

Forget about changing the Gulf of Mexico's name, or wanting to build Mar-a-Lago II in Gaza - we want to know what the bigger picture is. We want to know how high the wave is.

There’s not a media outlet on this planet that hasn’t run a Trump story in the last twenty-four hours, and frankly, we’re all beginning to drown in the noise of too many voices over too many channels.

American politics is cooking and just like their global footprint, it’s f***ing everywhere. We are being swept away by a tsunami of op-eds and opinions and and wish someone would just get to the point.

Forget about the daily ripples like changing the Gulf of Mexico’s name, or wanting to build Mar-a-Lago II in Gaza – we want to know what the bigger picture is. We want to know how high the wave is.

New York Times columnist Ezra Klein appears to be asking the same question in an Instagram video, suggesting that America isn’t just changing presidents, but shifting regimes. It’s an opinion of sorts, but one that feels pretty legit.

It sounds like Trump accomplished what Zuma was too clumsy to pull off. But enough of that. Go enjoy a Thursday cocktail – you deserve it.
