The Monarch Tuksi Company has recently launched a fleet of 10 Tuksi’s, or tuk-tuks, onto the streets of Cape Town.
The Tuksi’s are an awesome, different, cheap, and all in all fun way to get around the city.
They’re also using a different business model that allows you to buy shares in the business, which means no more fares, meters, or smelly cabs.
Shares entitle you to a private chauffeured ride anywhere in their zones of operation, and you’ll receive various perks or royalties for investing.
On top of this, if you but a King Cone Ice Cream, you can use it to redeem a free trip anywhere in their zone of operation.
The Tuksi’s are also available on a rental basis for use in whichever way you would like: rent them for a marketing launch, rent them for an event or party, or even rent them for a night out on the town.
All the vehicles are licensed and registered to operate on South African roads, and all are fully insured with Passenger Liability Insurance.
Give them a ring on 083 641 5453, drop them an email, send them a DM on Twitter (they’ll follow you back), and get all the information about rates as well as other booking information. If that’s not enough, send them a Whatsapp, or add them on BBM, pin 2171028A.
Check out their Facebook page for more.
