Durex, the international condom manufacturer have, just like every other company with a marketing team worth its salt, developed a snazzy iPhone app. Kudos to them.
That said, there are a few interesting things to note in the promotional video. Say, for example, their reasoning that guys don’t use condoms while making the beast with two backs because they’re not entirely concerned about getting venereal disease.
I’m sorry, what was that?
Check it out, after the jump.
There are a few things that I love about this app, and about this video.
Firstly, it’s tech-savvy. The QR code on the back of Durex packs is particularly nice touch. Second, I love the fact that my iPhone can make your iPhone pregnant. By why are you limiting the iPhone to the missionary position? Couldn’t we maybe try a few other positions for our iPhones? And why must men carry around girly iPhones with small Apple uteruses? My iPhone has a penis, damnit, not a womb!
And then there’s Durex’s little assertion that some men don’t use condoms because they’re not all that concerned about getting a nasty dose of the clap.
Excuse me, Durex marketing team, but it’s not called the clap because it deserves applause.
And how do you know men aren’t using condoms in general? Don’t shift your shoddy sales figures on us just because Rough Rider is screwing you (probably with a ribbed condom, just because they can).
