Radvertising: Coca-Cola Hits Another Feel Good Home Run In India And Pakistan [VIDEO]

In March of this year the super-brand decided to go one step further than just making people smile in their "Open Happiness" campaign. How you ask? Oh, just by creating a bit of world peace with a fizzy drink, that's all. Click through to watch how.

Yes my dears, Coca-Cola has done it again. Queue goosebumps.

In March of this year, the super-brand decided to go one step further than just making people smile in their “Open Happiness” campaign. How you ask? Oh, just by creating a bit of world peace with a fizzy drink, that’s all.

Coca-Cola sought out to create a connection between India and Pakistan. With what was called “Small World Machines,” Coca-Cola figured out the most amazing form of marketing to loosen the tension between the two countries.

The video shows what happened when the brand put up a communications portal between the two countries, in the shape of a vending machine. The machine was equipped with webcams and a touch screen, linking India and Pakistan and vice versa. Participants, went up to the machine and were instructed to do something to engage with a person on the opposite end of the screen, whether it be a dance or drawing, or a peace sign together. Once the task was completed the two parties could enjoy a coke together.

Amazing, isn’t it?
