The figures are staggering in football today and these lists make for some absorbing reading. A few things stand out:
- Roman Abramovich is at number four on the Richest Owners List, his lowest rank since buying Chelski in 2003. Shame.
- Ipswich Town’s Roy Keane is worth £6million more than Sir Alex Ferguson. *Scratches head*
- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer features in the Richest Manager List (he manages Manchester United’s reserves). Must be shirt sales following that Champions League Final winner.
- Sol Campbell features in the Richest Player List. He’s seen more clubs than a baby seal, so you’d imagine he’s had a fair share of transfer slices.
- Even though Michael Owen is second on the Richest Player List, his wealth is only 40% that of Becks’.
