2010 marks the 25th anniversary of “She-Ra: Princess of Power,” otherwise known as “Princess Adora.
It was in 1985 that “She-Ra: Princess of Power” began airing. I was a mere three years old but as I got older I began to think of myself as She-Ra. I would reach for my sword and with such conviction shout, “For the honor of Grayskull! I am She-Ra!”
It was at this point that Princess Adora would morph into her alter ego. I did not! But a girl can dream!
Last week, “She-Ra” was released on DVD, iTunes and Hulu.com. And throughout the year, toy manufacturer Mattel has been releasing collectible action figures based on some of the characters.
