Remember the time Facebook announced it would be launching video ads? Remember how they said their video ads will revolutionise online advertising? Here’s their big plan.
The social media giant plans to run 15-second ads, three times a day, right smack-bang in the middle of your newsfeed, and you won’t be able to skip them. So while you’re browsing your ex-girlfriend’s photos from her latest trip to Thailand, an ad for the new Honda will pop-up and block your view. No more Facebook quickies.
Facebook will be getting top-dollar for these ads, charging advertisers between $1 million and $2,5 million dollars per day! By way of comparison, a 30-second ad during this year’s Super Bowl cost $4 million.
Will the users revolt and quit Facebook?
