Forbes has released their list of the richest people in America. They said:
Five years after the financial crisis sent the fortunes of many in the U.S. and around the world tumbling, the wealthiest as a group have finally gained back all that they lost.
Guess who’s on top. Go ahead, guess. You guessed right! Bill Gates reclaimed the top spot for the 20th year in a row! Not bad! He is followed by Warren Buffet in second place, who added $12,5 billion to his riches this year, and in a close third is Mark Zuckerberg who completely missed the top 20 last year.
The top 400 wealthiest Americans are worth over $2 trillion, Forbes says this is roughly the same as the GDP of Russia.
The minimum net worth to make this elite list is $1,3 billion, leaving 61 American billionaires who didn’t make the list. Shame.
