We all feel a little bit uneasy about our private emails being stashed and archived in someone’s inbox forever. Surely when we invented digital mail, we could have thought ahead and prevented it? Anyway, we didn’t – but now someone has created a service that will help with this.
SecretInk is here to help rid us of this problem forever. Using SecretInk, you can send someone an email, and have it self-destruct after it’s been read. No trace of you, and no trace what you just said. You can also use SecretInk for SMSs, which is nice.
How does it work? The message that you receive from someone using SecretInk is not actually sent to you. Instead, you receive a link which opens up the SecretInk email or SMS in a browser. After a certain amount of time, the server deletes it and it can no longer be linked to or read.
Poof.
You’re all invited spam your bosses, and heckle your exes.
