Cape Town waterman, Chris Bertish is attempting to break the world record for the longest continuous stand up paddle (SUP), right now. If all goes to plan, he’ll arrive in Saldanha Bay at 19h00 tonight after 121 kilometres and 12 hours on the water. In classic form, he’s tweeting his journey. Follow his record attempt in real time.
Just headed out to Slangkop Lighthouse, had a full moon, pilot whales and dolphins on the way out! Gonna be a great day to break a record!

So amazing on the ocean today! We have had whales, dolphins, a seal feeding… And it's only 07:30! It's a great day to be alive!
