The WATT aims to change the way Capetonians commute in the inner city. Have a look at this new compact electric scooter designed and developed in Cape Town by a local tech startup called eLabs.
A cross between a skateboard and a cycle, The WATT prototypes got an overwhelming response at Design Indaba this year. The WATT features a variable wattage motor with a top speed of 25km/h. It can go for about 20km before needing a recharge.
