It appears that Luis Suárez’ bite on Italian player Giorgio Chiellini in the World Cup pool match was no spur-of-the-moment thing, as the infamous Uruguayan striker was caught almost biting the exact same player just under a year ago.
Suárez went for his first-helping of some Chiellini shoulder in the FIFA Confederations Cup in June 2013, where Uruguay and Italy were in the third-place playoff.
It’s not 100% conclusive that he was going for a bite, but it sure looked like it.
