We’re so used to seeing Robert Downey Jr. playing quick witted characters in movies that it makes it hard to believe he has a sensitive side. Well, here’s the proof that he does.
Robert’s 80-year old mum passed away late last week, and he wrote a very lovely tribute to her on Facebook.
“My ambition, tenacity, loyalty, “moods,” grandiosity, occasional passive aggression, and my faith… That’s all her…and I wouldn’t have it any other way. If anyone out there has a mother, and she’s not perfect, please call her and say you love her anyway…”
Whilst the post isn’t entirely full of praise for his mum (he speaks of her drug addiction), it relays the story of her life and shows that he loved her.
