When he’s not fearing his own future death-machines, Elon Musk works on more potential death-machines, and his latest includes a self-driving car.
At the recent Tesla event in LA, Musk showcased the mysterious “D” project, which is actually the AI-controlled Model S electric sedan.
“This car is nuts. It’s like your own personal roller coaster,” said the billionaire CEO of the electric car maker.
As for the pricing, the Model S is now available in six basic variants. The single-motor versions are designated 60, 85 and P85 (P stands for performance), while the dual-motor variants are called 60D, 85D and P85D. The new versions cost $89,570, $97,570 and $120,170, respectively.
