If the idea of plummeting through the air at crazy speeds clad in just a squirrel flying suit tickles your fancy we have a treat for you. You know, because BASE-jumping off Mount Kilimanjaro is so last week.
This Chilean wingsuit pilot, Sebastian Alvarez, showed off his patriotism with a simply stunning display of bravery and precision. This from Mashable:
[He] placed two people holding his national flag on top of an extinct volcano in Santiago de Chile, set his compass to kamikaze, and blasted through it. The slightest error could have been fatal but he managed to pull off the feat, to cheers from his colleagues.
The extinct volcano, Cerro Manquehue, has been inactive for all of 19 million years and is the highest peak in the area.
Looks like it takes a solid set of cojones and a few Red Bulls to get Sebastian started but he nails the target with incredible accuracy. Well played mate, you deserve a cold one.
