If you have a soft spot for animated movies you will have been moved by something Pixar have put together over the past 20 years. From Toy Story’s Woody and Buzz Lightyear through to Up and that delightful old man, their unique stories have proved popular the world over.
What many people don’t know is that much of what they put together is inspired by some of the seminal movies of the past 100 years, the Pixar team often paying homage to those cinematic classics by referencing them during their movies.
A Spanish film editor has taken the time to splice together side-by-side comparison between scenes from Pixar movies and the films that inspired them. Some comparisons seem like a stretch, I will say that, but others are just too similar to be down to chance.
Give it a watch right through, some of the biggest gems are towards the end.
