After years of a rumoured sequel to the 2008 found-footage monster horror film Cloverfield, fans will be delighted to know that it has become a reality.
10 Cloverfield Lane, the 2016 science fiction psychological thriller, was released in March and received various favourable reviews for doing just what a sequel should. Here’s the synopsis:
A young woman wakes up after a terrible accident to find that she’s locked in a cellar with a doomsday prepper, who insists that he saved her life and that the world outside is uninhabitable following an apocalyptic catastrophe. Uncertain what to believe, the woman soon determines that she must escape at any cost.
