Here’s Apple’s Olympic Games iPhone Ad [Video]

Apple have released an ad that showcases diversity in the only way Apple could - shot with an iPhone. But the voice-over is what really takes the cake.

During a time when there is a lot of animosity towards anyone with different values, beliefs, or skin colour, it’s quite cool to see all the work being put in by big influencers to make a note that while we are different, we’re still the same.

Yesterday, we got all the goosebumps from the MINI ad featuring Serena Williams and some of her more interesting teammates, giving a spiel about the prejudice they experience and how they overcome it to become an Olympian.

Now, yet another ad for the Olympics is pointing out the extensive range of diversity in the world.

Using an oral recording of Maya Angelou reading her poem “Human Family,” the Apple ad features juxtaposing images and recordings of people across the globe, all shot with an iPhone.

Aptly titled “The Human Family”, it’s great to know that Maya’s voice will be getting out there.
