Nothing Will Prepare You For These Fake-Looking Crazy Red New York Moon Shots

There are many brilliant photographs of New York City's skyline out there, but this one captures something so special it almost looks fake.

It has taken Jennifer Khordi two years to capture the perfect shot – and boy, did she get it.

The photographer, based in New Jersey, calculated the moon’s trajectory from her vantage point, a state park 40km away from the city.

After two years of shooting the moon, she knew the exact minute that it would be behind the building.

Check the progression:

Pretty sweet, right?

Well, many people are calling it fake, obviously, but to prove that Jen (can I call you Jen?) caught the whole scene on camera, she took a picture of the photograph on her DSLR:

Jen then shared a screenshot of ‘The Photographer’s Ephemeris’, the app she used to calculate the moon’s trajectory:

Take that, haters.
