Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather – they’re going to make so much money.
Floyd is coming out retirement, where he was enjoying his 49-0 record and the mountains of cash that came with it, to fight Conor on August 26 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
So here’s how the announcement went down on Floyd’s Twitter account:

So how did Conor go about announcing the fight? Well, he got his troll on:

I’m sure you get the joke, but in case you’re lost here’s Mashable:
Mayweather (Jr.) is on the wrong side of his career arc at 40 years old, while McGregor is in the heart of his prime at 28. The age difference has been one reason that more discerning fight fans have written off the bout’s potential even though it’s been hyped for months through rumors [sic] and reports. And now that same age difference is being used by McGregor for some excellent pre-fight digital trash-talk.
The fact that it’s under boxing rules means that some Vegas bookies have Mayweather as the heavy 10-1 favourite.
One thing is for sure, those odds won’t stop this one being hyped up as the biggest fight since Mayweather – Pacquiao.
Let’s hope it delivers something slightly more entertaining.
