No doubt about it, the roll-out of Fibre in Cape Town suburbs has been taking its sweet time.
Unfortunately, the installation of the high speed Internet depends on the demand: if no one in your suburb wants to get a fast connection, then you’re most likely going to be the last area to get it.
Once you have looked at the numbers, though, you might want to go knocking on a few doors and convince your neighbours that they shouldn’t be afraid to take the leap.
Need to Skype an overseas family member? No problem. How about a night of diving into what’s new on Steam without lagging? You got it.
All thanks to Home Fibre (FTTH) options from RSAWEB, you can tell your neighbours that they will get a reliable and fast connection, even during peak times. They just need to petition for it.
First, some questions they might have, and the answers so you’re in top form:
What speed you should go for:
How much data you might need:

Impressive, hey?
Once they have that all figured out, it’s time to chose a package. RSAWEB has a range of provider options offering different packages here, and they can pick and chose as they want:
If the numbers are just too much for them, RSAWEB has a speed test comparison on their site, to show you just how much better Fibre is:
However, if that effort is too much for you, then you’re just going to have to stick to good ol’ ADSL.
Here’s how to get on board:
What you think? Skip Telkom and wait for Fibre? I agree.
Oh, and check out these lovely offers from RSAWEB for when you sign up for Fibre, even if it isn’t in your area just yet:
