If you’re a robber, think again about hiding out in a cave on Table Mountain. Because the Western Cape authorities are going to be cracking down on yo’ ass. Just a warning.
Western Cape Community Safety law enforcement officers have launched a new plan to target criminals who have been mugging and robbing visitors on Table Mountain. Since the weekend, one man has already been discovered in a cave on the mountain and arrested for hoarding a variety of treasures that are suspected to be the proceeds of muggings.
Community Safety MEC Dan Plato said, “It is very convenient that after robbing a person [criminals are] running into a cave and thinking no one will look there”.
I wish the authorities well on their mission, but my guess is that it won’t be long for those other robbers to start hiding out elsewhere after that top secret announcement. Osama had been living comfortably in the burbs for quite some time, after all.
