I was at a shop yesterday and I heard a woman moaning to the cashier about having to wear a mask.
Never mind that the cashier serves hundreds of people a day and deserves a certain degree of protection. No, wearing a mask for a brief trip to the shops is too much to bear.
Let’s just be thankful that we have left the hard lockdowns behind us. The same cannot be said for large parts of China, including Shanghai.
Accidentally putting live people into body bags is just the tip of the iceberg.

Shanghai’s 26 million residents are in lockdown. Videos depicting food scarcity, protests and state violence have emerged, despite censorship.
We spoke to two residents to learn what they are seeing and experiencing inside the world’s strictest lockdown.
Note that the two residents have to disguise their voices and identities for fear of retribution from their government. That’s actual censorship, unlike having a Facebook post full of nonsense being labelled misinformation.
