And the virus is airborne.
Are you one of the millions of people worldwide, who share and consume music digitally?
Are you willing to pay for music, but irked by the ridiculous and restrictive licensing measures that labels put in place, for the sake of keeping their wheezing, dying CD-based business model alive?
What do you mean, if I buy a CD, and rip it to my iPod, I’m contravening licensing laws?
Time to flip a table.
The music industry is sick from Airborne on Vimeo.
For artists to make the US minimum wage each month, they’d have to make 12 THOUSAND album sales on iTunes, FOUR MILLION plays on Spotify, or nail just 1 658 fans on Airborne, who would subscribe for $1 a month.
Read that again. It’s not incorrect, just shocking.
To find out more about this incredible new service as an artist, or a consumer who feels like liberating themselves from a sham of a business model, check out the Airborne website, HERE.
