Great news for people in Cape Town who like buying and wearing nice things and, perhaps feel like there aren’t enough places to do that: the swanky fashion brand Zara has just announced the opening of its Cape Town branch at the V&A Waterfont, scheduled for later this year.
We would like to officially announce that ZARA will be opening its first Western Cape store at the V&A Waterfront later this year.

Said David Green, CEO of the V&A Waterfront
Following the tradition of many retail firsts at the V&A Waterfront, we are absolutely delighted that this world class international retailer will be joining us soon.
Zara is swanky and pretty well-regarded brand-wise, so it ought to fit in to the other fashiony places at the Waterfront – it’s set to be located in the Victoria Wharf, the main shopping centre along the waterfront.
Zara has around 2 000 shops in 80 countries globally, but who cares about that? Go hit the gym and make sure your shoulders are broad enough to carry off a swanky Zara pea-coat for when they open.
