I remember once, back when I was far too young to understand how daft I was being, I attempted to bring a dead puff adder to school. People lost their minds (rightly), I was given a stern talking to and I realised snakes and schools don’t mix all that well.
The same goes for wild leopards it seems, a school in India terrorised as the animal ran wild through the halls and pool area. Thankfully the pupils had not yet arrived for class, guards sealing off the school and trying to dart the big cat.
It took a full three hours for the tranquilliser to take effect, during which time it managed to injure six of the guards.
I would have thought jumping into the pool was a safe bet but I guess not everyone agrees.
