It’s always a pleasure to see 2oceansvibe Weather Girls killing-it on the instanet. Take Lyndall Jarvis, for example, who joined Julz for the debut “On The Couch” episode for Car Magazine’s website.

I love the way they’re acting all professional and polite, when in actual fact these are the two biggest party animals in Cape Town. You should SEE them together when the camera’s aren’t rolling. They’re on the BAR COUNTER, not the BACKSEAT!

I’m telling you right now, they should make another show filmed on Friday nights called On The Bar Counter and they can replace those cute CARMAG waters, with CAR branded tequila bottles.

After that they can make another show called ON THE FLOOR.

If you’re one of the people that made up 20,000 views of our last Weather Girls show with Landi Swanepoel, you’ll appreciate this. If you didn’t watch that video, you’re making a grave mistake – because you will more than likely fall off your chair – for a variety of reasons.

Not least of which being the glory that is Peroni/Guess girl, Landi Swanepoel! And it is with great pride and honour that I give you this sneak preview Landi – on the cover of the Jeans Magazine in the latest Cosmo.

That chick’s a fucking pro! All the more reason to buy the latest Cosmopolitan magazine girls *cough* and boys!

You’ll recognise it fairly quickly – it’s got that lunatic, Lady Gaga on the cover..

So some of you are probably aware of the vibe that Minki van der Westhuizen has been throwing around town – that she wants to be a 2oceansvibe Weather Girl. It started a few months back if I remember correctly. I was getting messages passed on by friends and friends of friends.

“Is it possible?”

“Would you want her on the show?”

” She would LOVE to be on!”

“Do you see her as a 2oceansvibe Weather Girl?”

And so it went on. I had never thought about it, to be quite frank – until my Twitter box started becoming littered with these “hints,” direct from Minki.

Wow, quite a vibe, I thought to myself.

I wasn’t exactly sure how to handle it, as being pressurised into doing things of that nature doesn’t work really well with me.

A number of 2oceansvibers tweeted Minki and told her to email me.

I can’t recall if she emailed or not – but that doesn’t matter – because Friday night saw a whole new level of attack from our girl.

“OH MY GOD, SETH!!!!!” came the screech from across the room at Cafe Peroni.

“How ARE you!!!” she squealed, very familiar and all that. You could have sworn we had bathed together as kids.

“HOW ABOUT A PHOTO!!?” she asked. Not that I had much option, as she had pre-arranged the photo crew to trail behind her until she had found me.

It’s not altogether surprising that former 2oceansvibe Weather Girls model, Genevieve Morton, has been spotted in the newly released US Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. She did absolutely kill it in that episode (here and here) we did in Camps Bay.

The 2oceansvibe Weather Girls is the same show which recently featured Peroni model, Landi Swanepoel.

And Tracy McGregor before her. And the Cowley Sisters. And Elbe van der Merwe. And Helen Zille.

It’s not often that we find ourselves sitting opposite what is commonly referred to as a “supermodel.” That’s what the media around the world has referred to Landi Swanepoel as, ever since she exploded onto the scene a couple years back as the international face of Guess and as “that girl” from the iconic black and white Peroni ads, which are still aired across the globe. Not that she was ever shy of years of catwalk work with the likes of Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier.

We are proud to announce that TOMORROW’S 2oceansvibe Weather Girl is Landi Swanepoel. We shot it earlier this week and I assure you it’s going to be one of the best 2oceansvibe Shows you have ever seen!

The universe’s settings ensure that 2oceansvibe and the vibe in general will always prevail. Take for example this new Betwaycom commercial, which features no only 2oceansvibe Character G-Man, but also previous 2oceansvibe WeatherGirl, Lisa Cowley!

G-Man is quite amazing when it comes to controlling his environment. “Almost magical” is how some people have referred to his powers. Never before have they been so well documented as in this ad, where we see him using his mind and his mouse to remove idiots.

And what do you know, Goldfish (2oceansvibe Characters The Blonde and Baby Jesus) took care of the soundtrack in that ad as well!

I know what you’re thinking. How can it get to this level? It’s quite silly, really – it’s like we’re playing this game on “easy” mode..

Behold, the ULTIMATE Christmas gift..

Due to the overwhelming amount of awesome videos on 2oceansvibe, you can’t be expected to watch it all – and let’s face it, not everyone has super fast internet. So here it is, people. You asked for it, and now you’ve got it. It’s the 2009 2oceansvibe DVD.

Not surprisingly, it’s entitled “Touch Yourself” and contains SO MUCH stuff I honestly don’t know where to begin. What’s more, they’re all presented in their original resolution, so you’re getting improved picture quality too!

Just to get you started, it’s basically got the ENTIRE 2oceansvibe Weathergirls Show collection (shame – poor you), with models including The Cowley Sisters, Tracy McGregor, Lyndall Jarvis, Genevieve Morton and tons more beautiful angels. And that’s not excluding the ones with Helen Zille and Goldfish and the other one with Bob Skinstad stripping down to his jocks! Some classic moments, I must admit!

But that’s not all..

Howz that DVD box? Pretty cool, hey? Can you imagine owning that and holding it close to your body? No need – just pop it in the DVD player and, when you watch it, it will feel like I am right there, holding you. Naked.

It’s also got the ENTIRE Pauly Shore series with Dirty Skirts soundtrack that we shot in Hollywood early on in the year – which includes Pauly Shore dry humping Zinzi on a physio’s table. Let alone live footage of Pauly making hotel booty calls and following through with the angels actually arriving at the door within minutes! Those who have watched the whole thing will confirm that it is truly hilarious! And I didn’t even mention the hidden-camera footage of Pauly in the drug store..

OBVIOUSLY it’s got the IDOLS Randall Abraham “Rocky” video which won the award for Best Blog Post at the 2009 SA Blog Awards. That same video has been watched online over 150,000 times so far. I simply couldn’t leave it out!

It’s got the little debate I had with Springbok Captain, John Smit, as well as the 2oceansvibe Top Billing feature which included Goldfish, as well as Ard Matthews from Just Jinjer on the show.

So it’s a bit of a joke when it comes to the volume of stuff you’re getting on the DVD. There’s even a Bonus footage section which includes the now famous Cape Town Short Cuts video, as well as behind the scenes never-seen-before footage of The TBG, Seth, The Dude, G-Man and the rest of the gang. I would tell you more, but don’t want to spoil it..
