Ricky Gervais shows us, once again, that it’s okay to poke a little fun at ourselves with this Vine video.
Yes, your favourite series is soon to be a movie. Just as awesome, and following the dreams of The Office’s David Brent as he embarks on a journey to fulfil his lifelong dream… which of course is not quite what he thought it would be.
Following comedian Ricky Gervais‘ announcement to resurrect his character from The Office, David Brent, in a mockumentary, VICE has hit back to try and sway the excitement as Gervais’ attempt may “smudge the memory”. VICE’s argument is that Gervais may be not only flogging a dead horse, but beating the living-hell out of its corpse [...]
We covered the arrival of this delightful web series when it popped up on Ricky Gervais’ channel a few weeks ago, but we’ve been somewhat slack with keeping you abreast of anything past the pilot episode. So, in the spirit of current affairs and devouring minutes from your workday, we give you episode two (above), [...]
If the black and white of this video isn’t enough, the lyrics will be. Equality Street is the official music video from David Brent, played by our favourite master of satire Ricky Gervais. Here are some of our favourite stills from the music video. [Source: YouTube]

Anyway, he has a new TV show – Life’s Too Short – about to air in the UK. The plot appears to involve a dwarf. Several, actually. No, seriously! See trailer inside.
I’m a huge fan of The Office, both Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant’s original and the American rendition. Steve Carell’s recent announcement that he will no longer resume his role as Michael Scott genuinely forced moisture from my face. I was immediately cheered up by an awe-inspiring clip: a meeting between Michael and David Brent.
Ricky Gervais has announced via his blog that he’s working on an installment of The Office for China, in addition to the Israely, German, Canadian, and French and American versions already in existence. I’m not so sure an obscure, culturally-based sitcom will work in China, especially considering that their gold standard for comedy usually goes [...]
