You all remember that brilliant short film Timmy Henny made of Cape Town, “Mini Cape“? Well, Tim has been chosen amongst six other international film makers to produce a video in the Basilicata region in Southern Italy.
The result, as you can see, is beautiful. Henny explains that he was “chosen to do a story on Matera, an astonishingly beautiful and utterly non-touristy marvel of such an amazing country.” Like “Mini Cape”, he “decided to shoot it in the same miniature style”. As you can see the town was absolutely perfect for this tilt-shift technique.
Tim, as a fellow 2oceansviber, needs our help. We’ll hand the explaining over to Timmy:
The tourism board of Basilicata is now running a competition to see who gets the most hits on youtube. Please watch and share my video if you like it. Unfortunately you won’t see any of the prize money but you will get a warm fuzzy feeling in your tummy when I come home with the bacon.
So, watch the video, and then tweet it, post on FB, or whatever social media realm you wander in. Help a brother out.
