And if it wasn’t enough to get through a day without your phone bombarding you, every chance it gets with non-stop notifications! Now Apple plans to make your phone tell you how fat and lazy you are under the guise of tracking your fitness.
But for those who are inclined on not dying of cardiac arrest at an early age, this might be for you.
We don’t see the need for a judgmental smart phone (Siri is snarky enough as it is), but current trends on the tech frontier show a greater demand for health orientated integration with your wearable gadgets. Apple plans to cash in on this growing market with talks about integrating an app currently called ‘Healthbook’ in the forthcoming iOS 8 software. Coupled with the iWatch or eventually an iPhone 6, this app will be able to track your fitness as well as your vital signs.
Oh and it will remind you to take your crazy pills, as you will be living in a future where a phone tells you to go outside and go for a run.
