UberFacts reaches millions of people with its factoids everyday. But what most of its 6.3 million Twitter followers don’t know is that many of these “facts” are half-truths, misleading, or patently false.
Blogger Matt Novak did some fact checking of 64 UberFacts released during the course of one day. He found that 38 of them were true, 11 were complete lies and the rest were partially true or are highly debatable. Here are a some UberFacts he found that were all made up:
