Death isn’t a laughing matter. Truly. At least, up until the point that someone decides to bring their show to a close in spectacularly simple fashion.

We’ll say this now – what you need at this point is a bit of common sense and FRANK.NET to avoid ending up in situations like these.

There must hundreds of these stories (Darwin Awards, anyone?) but these are our favourites. All available with a quick Google search.

• There once was a man in Poland. With his friends at a bar one night, they set about trying to prove their manliness by flexing their muscles, drinking lots of shots and generally doing foolish things. One of our unfortunate hero’s friends was challenged to cut off his foot with a chainsaw. Not to be outdone, once the foot was off, our hero proceeded to grab the chainsaw, yell “WATCH THIS!” and decapitate himself.
• Then there’s the couple in Brazil. Driving along the country’s largest freeway, they got it into their heads to pull over on the right-hand side and pause for a little quickie. I know – when the feeling takes you, the feeling takes you. Except, on the wrong side of a massive motorway, the chances of being hit and obliterated by a cargo truck are large. In fact, that’s exactly what happened.
• What about the man from Austria who drowned in his own sink? As the story goes, our drunken star of the show climbed in through the kitchen window, late one night. Discovering that he was too large to fit, the man began to flail around, inadvertently turning on the hot water, which filled up the sink enough that he drowned. Not only did he drown, but he drowned burning. The front door keys were in his pocket.
• Of course, we can’t forget the genius who wanted to rob a shop and decided to disguise himself by spraying spray paint on his face. Genius.

Now we all know you’re better than that, but there are a bunch of ways to be outwitted. Which makes shaking hands with FRANK.NET that much better, that much smarter, than all of the above mentioned.
