The second of the four top mens tennis players has been knocked out of Wimbledon by a youngster. Andy Murray was smashed out in the quarterfinals yesterday by a 23-year old Bulgarian, Grigor Dimitrov. The youngster won convincingly in just three sets with a 6-1, 7-6 (4), 6-2.
This is not the first upset for the top 4 champs, with Raffael Nadal being knocked out on Tuesday by 19 year-old Australian Nick Kyrgios. The youngster, who conceded to being tired after his hard won victory against Raffa, was overpowered in the quarterfinals by Canadian Milos Raonic.
With only two of the big 4 left, Wimbledon has some renewed unpredictability this year and it will be interesting to see what happens in the final two rounds. It looks like this is unlikely to be the last upset for the former champs.
