A Metro bus in Joburg tried to take a detour to the train station yesterday, but I want to say it was not the most efficient way of doing so, what with there being no actual road for the bus to drive on.
But I think a round of applause is necessary for the perfect nosedive taken off Queen Elizabeth Bridge in Braamfontein by the driver and his bus. The landing is quite impeccable.
Thankfully, there were no passengers on board so major disaster was avoided and the driver got away with “minor injuries”. Pedestrians were kept well away from the scene which was cordoned off by Johannesburg Metro Police (JMPD) officers, emergency services and Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) officials. Here’s hoping they figure out why, exactly, this man thought this was the best route to take.
