HAHA – Please Enjoy This Nkandla Firepool Demonstration [Video]

I’d like to tell you the video you’re about to watch shows firefighters using the Nkandla ‘fire pool’ to, y’know, fight a fire.
Unfortunately there weren’t any available at the time of the recent media tour, so instead some bright spark decided to put on this bizarre show of make-believe, wherein we see two firemen hosing the ‘fire pool’, stoically trying to put out the fire, in the pool. I honestly don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Perhaps it’s the seed of a nifty business idea – ‘Turn your swimming pool into a fire pool’, all you need is a generator and a pump and away you go.
Quite how anyone thought this display would help deflate the current furore surrounding the gross overspending, is beyond me.
