In case you were wondering what was going on with that van Breda murder case here’s your latest update – there is nothing to report.
News is circulating that the Western Cape police do not have any suspects against whom to lay charges for the murders that rocked the De Zalze estate back in January. This below from EWN:
The Rapport newspaper is reporting senior investigators have confirmed there’s insufficient evidence to charge anyone in the triple murder case.
The newspaper said the dossier will be revised in just over a week’s time and may then be referred for a judicial inquest.
It will then be up to a magistrate to decide whether a suspect can be pursued in the investigation.
Yep, despite what we might think we know from the extensive coverage this case has been given it seems the Western Cape police can’t quite figure this mystery out. If only there was some evidence for them to go on to at least get them pointed in the right direction…
