Wow, humans, you really are a nice bunch. It’s no wonder the aliens have no interest in visiting us.
A 2x2m cage was built in a classroom in Australia to house a 10yr old boy with autism – although details are somewhat unconfirmed, it is reported the structure cost around R50 000 and is of the bright blue variety.
Apparently, the structure was designed in an isolated incident. It was built in March, but after the incident was reported to the Commissioner for Children and Young People, Australian’s Minister for Education and Training removed the cage.
It is a space for a student to calm down and when the student needed a quiet space. There was one occasion where the student was put in the structure by staff to calm down.
So heartbreaking that a school in a country where things seem so much more brighter can’t handle their children with more need than most.
