I get that the ANC in the Western Cape must be stressed, what with the DA snapping all those votes, but that’s really no excuse to start klapping each other.
Someone should tell that to ANC Western Cape secretary Faiez Jacobs, who has just been suspended for assaulting researcher Wesley Seale. It is alleged that Jacobs was angered by Seale’s failure to write a report he had requested, a picture of the researcher bleeding posted on Facebook by Anda Qhama Bici.

In a statement on Wednesday, ANC Western Cape leader Marius Fransman said officials met to discuss the matter and decided to refer it to the internal disciplinary process.
He said Jacobs [pictured above] had been put on precautionary suspension pending the outcome of the disciplinary process. And the researcher would be on leave for two weeks.
The farce that is this party never ceases to amaze. No political party is perfect, don’t get me wrong, but it’s amazing that in this day and age our country’s ruling party still finds ways to outdo themselves.
