If you’re unaware of Ultra Music Festival, here’s a little help: Think of all the shit EDM (electronic dance music) you have had to endure over the years at clubs / bars or via the radio and, pairing it with shirtless jocks let loose with MDMA pack it into a weekend full of “fun”.
Over two days, featuring acts like Skrillex, Tiesto, Afrojack and so many more artists that you have to love to know, the festival attracts a certain kind of someone. And that is why I didn’t attend Ultra.
But this video is the reason I would never mission to Jozi’s version.
Although it is pretty hilarious, this is what happens when testosterone gets mixed in with way too much molly – or to some known as the good ol’ MDMA. Imagine the conversation:
Friend One: China, I’m going to dropkick you when the beat drops.
China: Bro, let’s do it.
Guy on the Sideline: I’m going to film it, boet.
And he just keeps on dancing.
